Tendenci was created to fill a gap in the web marketing software industry.  Ed Schipul, CEO of Schipul – The Web Marketing Company, recognized a need for affordable membership management and association website marketing software.  Other membership software applications were either too costly or not robust enough to manage the complex transactions for membership management, email marketing, event management, and donations management.  The majority of the solutions were also extremely technical.

Tendenci was developed to solve these problems and provide a simpler, better, and cheaper solution for membership management, event management, donation and fundraising management, and web marketing and website management for professional associations and non-profit organizations.

Our Vision is to provide non-profit and professional organizations with an affordable website CMS that doesn't require a large staff to maintain or a Computer Science degree to set-up and update.
