How does the image properties dialog box work?
Alternative Text:
Add text here that describes the image. When a cursor is placed over the image this text will come up. FYI - use keywords as much as possible. It is good for search engines.
Width and Height:
Width and Height can be adjusted. Be careful that you do not distort the image. Use the lock icon next to the and height box to lock the aspect ratio of the image. Use the round arrow icon to reset the size back to the original size. If you upload the image at its correct size, you will not need to change the width and the height. I suggest having your image already at its correct size before you upload it.
Border:
I suggest always putting 0 into this box or you will get an ugly blue border around your image if you link the image.
Spacing Horizontal/Vertical:
This allows you to adjust the horizontal/vertical space around an image so that it gives your text room to breath.
Alignment:
This allows you to place the image on any side of the text. The most commonly used are left and right.
