Editing a CMS page

Watch the Help Video below, or scroll down to read our written instructions.

The text pages of your web site are actually built on a Content Management System (CMS). This means that all content lives in a database and is displayed like regular text when someone visits the page. The beauty of this is that you can update this text whenever you want!

*You must be logged in as a Global (Site) Admin to access the CMS options.  Here is a Help File on how to make someone a Global Admin of a site.*

To edit a CMS page:

  1. Access the page you want to edit.
  2. Click the Edit icon (pencil) in the lower right-hand corner of the page.
  3. Change the Title if you wish.
    • This will change both the title that shows at the top of the page and the title that shows in the blue bar at the very top of your screen.
    • Since Titles carry weight with the search engines, make your Titles descriptive and smart.
  4. Edit the Content in the big box in the middle of the page.
    • You have many formatting options available to you as you work -- changing font sizes and colors, bolding, italics, etc.
    • You can even insert tables and add links within your text. See How to add a link in a CMS page for more information.
    • Some of the formatting options will require you to edit the actual HTML tags on the page. If you cannot use the WYSIWYG options to get the result you want, click the Source button to view the HTML source for the page.
  5. Click Edit Page Content.
