There are ways to have an article show higher up in the Articles seach.  And if you have a section on your homepage that pulls from your articles, this will allow it to appear here.

1. From the Tendenci console click on the Articles tab at the top.
2. Search for the article you would like to change and click the pencil icon to make an edit.
3. Be sure that this area is filled in:
   
   

   Summary:	***Character Limit: 500 characters max



4. Then scroll down to the:
   
   

   Featured Article:

   Yes



5. Make sure the box is checked.

Articles are set to display newest to oldest in a search.  By selecting the article to be Featured you bump it ahead of all the other dates. You can however have more than one Featured Article, among these newest date will again determine their order.
