Restricting the visible data on the memberships view page

Through the Tendenci Membership Applications module admins can define what data is visible on the view page for users and/or members, the person who the membership is for, and for admins.

First - locate the membership application you want to make changes to and click the pencil, then locate the field you want to modify and click the pencil next to it.

  • To restrict a field to admin view only:
    • check the box next to "Admin Only" and press "Submit"
    • this will restrict the field to administrators only when adding, editing, or viewing the form.  No one except Site Administrators will be able to view this data.
  • To restrict a field to editor only
    • check the box next to "Editor Only" and press "Submit"
    • this will restrict the field from being seen on the view page by anyone except for admins or the person who owns the membership (usually the person of which the membership belongs).
