Setting up a new employee on your Tendenci site
The following things need to be done/considered when an employee has been hired.
- Add the User to the Tendenci system.
- See How to Add a User with Log In Privileges
- Choose their Security level -- User or Admin
- Add them to the appropriate User Groups
- (Optional) Add the User to the Site Constants list depending on their role within the organization.
- This list controls who receives email notification when certain events occur on the site (e.g. a contact form is submitted or someone registers for a class)

- (Optional) Add the User as an Alternate Editor on certain pages.
- This allows Site Users to alter the content of specifc pages without granting them full Site Admin rights.
- Site Admins do not need Alternate Editor rights as they can update all pages.

- Send the User a link to the Tendenci Online Support Center.
- Have them take the online tutorial -- Getting Started with Tendenci.
- Have them check the Help Files for specific tasks.
