Polls are a great way to solicit very brief, yet specific information from a group of site users.

The Polls module in Tendenci allows one question with multiple answer options. For example, you might ask:

What was your favorite luncheon topic from last year?

• Franchise opportunities
• Industry legislation that affects you
• Technology update -- why you care about blogs
• Volunteering -- ways to give back to the community

When adding the poll, you can set a start/end date for responses, decide whether or not users have to log in to take the poll, and choose whether they can vote more than once.

After you have added the poll to the site, send out an email to your site users with a link to the poll and/or link it on the first page of your site.
