Tendenci Community sites are template based and each Template's Theme has custom settings that you'll want to update after you launch your Tendenci Community website.  Before you update your Theme Settings, you should select the theme you will keep for your website's appearance and layout, and then set up your Global Site Settings.  Once you've done these things, you are ready to edit your Theme Settings.

To go to your Theme Settings and update them, use the superuser navigation menu at the top of your website, mouse over to "Themes" and then select "Theme Settings" from the dropdown:

Most of these options will be the same for all our Themes, however each theme has slightly different customization options and you may not have all of the defined theme settings listed in this help file inside your Theme Settings depending on which Theme you have selected for your website.

Here are a list of the possible theme setting options and explanations for how to fill them out and how they effect your website's theme:

This setting allows you to upload your organization's logo image that will be used for the theme. Supports .jpg, .jpeg, and .png files.  You can find the different Themes' image sizes and aspect ratios in the Image Sizes for Tendenci Templates Help File.

Social Media Icons are optionally displayed on your website depending on if you've filled out information for your organization's social networking page URL's in the fields below.  Leaving them blank will remove an icon and filling them out will place the icon on your page templates:

Tendenci has special editable content areas called Spaces that allow you to easily add dynamic content to your homepage and internal page sidebars.  Depending on your theme, you will have different options for the number and placement of these Spaces and Space Sidebars and different ways to use Tags when adding content that you want automatically displayed inside these Spaces:
