American International Club of Geneva Launches New Membership Website on Tendenci
Upgraded Website to Promote Panel of World Leaders at Monthly Events
HOUSTON, January 26, 2015 –Tendenci (www.tendenci.com), the software development company spearheading the Tendenci Open Source platform for associations and other nonprofits (NPOs), is proud to release a dynamic new website for the American International Club of Geneva. The website, http://www.amclub.ch, is powered by Tendenci Open Source, which ensures that the organization's online presence keeps pace with the evolving international membership base and the increase in the club's activity and visibility.
Tendenci Open Source AMS was released as an open source solution to give cause-related organizations greater freedom and control over their online presence.
The American International Club of Geneva supports community among Americans and professionals from all over the world living in the Geneva area. The upgraded website prominently features the impressive panel of world leaders in policy, innovation, science and research that AIC Geneva hosts at their monthly events.
Among the capabilities that make the Tendenci platform so powerful is its ability to sort and analyze the activity of website users. This allows organizations using Tendenci to better target and tailor information based on observed user behaviors.
The American International Club of Geneva encourages frequent return visits to the website by constantly updating content using Tendenci’s CMS. It is easy to create new pages, update and organize website content, and post news and articles. To provide visiblity to sponsors, Tendenci incorporated several areas within the site layout to display logos and advertisements.
To demonstrate expertise and share knowledge, the club uses Tendenci’s integrated rich media management to easily upload and view videos. And with Tendenci’s online event management, the initiative can easily post and promote upcoming speaking engagements and cultural opportunities.
Tendenci has more than 1 million users and currently powers hundreds of websites for organizations around the world, including the San Francisco Bay Area Innovation Group (www.sfbig.org), the New York Emmy Awards (www.nyemmys.org) and the Houston Technology Center (www.houstontech.org).
