This year, we start off with new features, tighter security, and greater functionalities! It took a dedicated team to make this possible, so we would first like to thank our core team and Tendenci open source contributors. We appreciate you very much. 

First, we are excited to introduce more features in Tendenci's Chapter Membership Management which includes all the functionalities your organization needs to continue to unite the world's people and do good. Woofhoo! 

Before introducing what chapter membership entails, and pointing out other awesome features, you can check out Tendenci's CHANGELOG at Github to see the details of each version bump. 

Tendenci Chapter Membership

Give Chapter leaders the ability to manage members at the Chapter level to increase the user experience and lessen the workload of site-wide administrators.

How to use chapter memberships and what's in it: 

1. You can build a chapter membership application form at the admin backend
2. Enable chapter memberships by turning on the setting 
3. Chapter leaders can customize Application Fields.
4. Users can join a chapter by clicking the button "Join Chapter" on the chapter details page, filling out, and submitting the form. 
5. Chapter leaders can approve pending chapter memberships on the chapter membership details page.
6. Each chapter can specify a Newsletter group
7. Chapter leaders can import chapter memberships into their chapters.
8. Chapter leaders can search /filter chapter memberships (with export), and access and adjust their invoices.  
9. Chapter membership notices for join, renew, and renewal reminders can be set up

Membership Search, Filter, and Email Features

You asked we listened! Our awesome new front-end Member search and filter interface makes it seamless to engage with specific subsets of your members. 

You can now filter by any and all criteria on your Membership Application, as well as export your members, and email subsets of your members, based on your specific search criteria.

For example, you can reach out to all the members who have expressed interest in volunteering, and filter a specific geographical area! 

Manage Spam

We know spam has gotten worse and worse, so we have upgraded Google's reCaptcha to allow clients to use Google reCaptcha v3 in an effort to reduce spam and phishing attempts.
