Tendenci CMS - Creating a New Photo Album - Edit and Bulk Edit Your Photos
Once your photos are done loading you'll automatically be brought to the edit page where you can individually and bulk edit your photo albums. You can use this right-hand side to replace all of the titles, the captions, and the tags.
Whatever is placed in these boxes will be applied to all the images in the selected photo album. If a box is left empty, it will not effect the other details of an image, only the boxes that has been filled. For example: lets say you all the images were taken in Austin, TX and you want to add the location in the caption, then you would write the location under Replace all Captions and it will be added to all the images. Remmeber that if whether you edit a single image or multiple images always click on Save All Changes.
You can also set one of the photos as your album cover by selecting the "set album cover" box.
You can individually change the names of the titles once you have bulk edited. If there's one of two that you want to have a different name, that won't affect the rest of them. Over here you can select the type of license you would like using creative comments, typical license and in this case we'll use "Attribution Share Alike," making all of the photos shareable as long as they give us credit for them. You can replace all tags and all captions or individually and then you simply save all changes.
And once your photos have been saved as you can see here we now have a beautiful photo album with all of our photos displayed in this grid tile.
Logged in as the admin we can edit, delete, add new photos to the album, edit them, and even download a zip file. You're able to see the album cover that was selected during the bulk edit when entering the album cover and also in the album listing. When you go inside an album and select an image you can view all sizes, check the attribution license, or any other comment added to the image.
You can download all of the different sizes of the image. You even have the option here to get HTML code automatically that you can embed into other parts of your website or share with friends on their websites, to have the photo displayed inside the page. For more information on this visit part one of the photo album module (Overview of the Tendenci Photo Albums Module).
How to access photo album to bulk edit?
Whenever you upload an image or multiple images, you will always get redirected to the bulk edit page. Another way to access the page is by clicking on the album you would like to edit, then on the top admin bar select the Photos drop-down, and proceed to select Edit Photos.
On this page, you will see all the images and their information from that photo album. You can edit the: title, caption (description), name the photographer, add tags, select licenses (organizational purposes), change the group (organizational purposes), and category (organizational purposes), set it as the album cover, and delete multiple images.
