In the Videos module, you can organize videos by both Category and Type. This helpfile explains the difference between the two and how to use them properly.
If your site uses the Videos Module, click the "Videos" option in the Content drop down:
You'll be taken to the Admin Backend. From here, select the grey "Add Video" button on the right-hand side of the page.
In the Add Video view, put in the title of your video in the "Title" section. "Slug" is for the URL of the video on your site. It will auto-populate with text based on the title of the video, but you can customize it if you prefer.
The Category should be used for the topic of the video. For example, a Category could be Science, Technology or Board of Directors. Type is what kind of video you are posting. For example, a type could be Interview, Training, or Internal.
Ideally, categories should fall under a type. For example, A video about an interview with a scientist would be marked as Type = Interview, Category = Science.
Once you've selected both of these, you can select a thumbnail image that will show up when you view the videos from your site's Video page. Include the URL of where the video lives, whether it's YouTube, Vimeo or another service and tag it accordingly.
After you've added these categories, put a short description of your video in the editor:
Now, set your permissions for who can view the video and make sure "Publishing Status" is activated and click Save.
