AIC Geneva's Online Reinvention Boosts Member Engagement and Enhances the Admin & User Experience | Tendenci AMS
Tendenci - The Open Source AMS (Association Management System) was purposefully designed to serve every nonprofit organization and association worldwide. The Tendenci software, an open-source wonder, is written in Python and built on the Open Source Django Framework. It stands out as the most cost-effective AMS compared to every other player in the market. Undoubtedly, Tendenci is a powerhouse for associations and 100% customizable.
This is the reason why we have wonderful long-term hosted friends in Geneva, Switzerland—known as the American International Club of Geneva (AIC Geneva). They are dedicated to uniting a community of English-speaking expats with the shared goal of community building. Recently, AIC Geneva made the game-changing decision to overhaul their website redesign, completely innovating their online presence and enhancing the admin and user experience on their Tendenci site!
It is always a source of joy for us to participate in the strategic plans for reinvention with our hosted clients and to witness them thriving amidst ongoing turbulent times.
In this case, AIC Geneva modeled their redesign after the organization's 70th anniversary rebranding to boost member engagement and increase revenue-generating programs.
"The redesigned website represents a major improvement compared to what we had previously," says Phillip Sundquist, AIC President.
"The finished product looks more modern and streamlined. We are especially pleased that the website incorporates some design elements from our recent 70th Anniversary Yearbook. This improved website will enhance communication to our members and corporate sponsors."
Tendenci not only delivered a redesign the AIC Geneva team fell in love with, but also made the site administrator user experience far more efficient by increasing the amount of dynamically generated content on the homepage and internal landing pages, alleviating much of the manual work needed to update the website's most visited content.
Other optimizations the TendenciDev team delivered included information architecture to streamline the user journey, as well as the implementation of custom event registration forms to boost engagement with specific groups of event attendees.
Tendenci is robust, and like any software handling complex needs, it comes with a learning curve. Our team was excited to assist AIC Geneva in navigating the membership application process and restructuring their information architecture to enhance the overall user experience and increase member engagement. As the creative minds behind the software, our team is always dedicated to offering training and creating custom help files to assist and support admin staff members, ensuring complete success with the Tendenci software and their online presence.
