Data-Driven Members and Volunteers passionately support Statistics Without Borders (SWB) to contribute to the good of society, and use SWB's new Tendenci site as a platform for doing just that. "Data science and statistics are not typically thought of as ways to uplift societies, and Statistics Without Borders plays a unique role in changing people’s perceptions of what data science can do". -SWB

Statistics Without Borders

Statistics Without Borders is a volunteer outreach group of the American Statistical Association (ASA) that values people and our planet. They provide Pro Bono services in statistics and data science. You can become a member and volunteer your time to contribute to the good of society and request a project by filling out a new client questionnaire! SWB welcomes people from different backgrounds for a variety of roles. And while most of their volunteers do have statistical training, you do not need to have majored in statistics to help advance their powerful mission.

All of this wonderful information is found on their customized Tendenci website for Association Management Software, where you can also search for clients in their Business Directory, and check out their Volunteer Testimonials. For the core of their mission, Statistics Without Border is leveraging the flexibility of the Projects Module, which is completely customizable. SWB also takes advantage of the flexibility of integrations in the Tendenci software without the need for third-party plugins by embedding Tableau, a popular visualization tool to help Data Analysts create comprehensive visuals.

Now that's the power of building an online presence with community management software! With open-source, Tendenci AMS continues to pave the way for associations and non-profit organizations on a global scale.

SWB has no limits for its community of data-driven members and volunteers as they leverage Tendenci open-source association management software.
